about emily
Emily Sauer is a dedicated family law practitioner who brings compassion, clarity, and practical insight to every client she serves. A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan College of Law in 2018, Emily has since built a practice focused on helping separating families navigate the complexities of parenting disputes, division of family property, child support and spousal support.
As a mother of two young children, Emily understands firsthand the unique stresses that parenting can bring—especially during periods of transition. Her personal experience informs her empathetic, client-centered approach to legal practice.
Emily is committed to helping clients reach fair and balanced resolutions both in and out of the courtroom. Whether through litigation or alternative dispute resolution methods, she handles each file with a focus on reducing conflict and achieving outcomes that support her clients’ long-term well-being. In addition to resolving disputes, Emily also values the opportunity to help families plan for the future. She assists clients in drafting cohabitation and separation agreements, as well as providing thoughtful guidance in estate planning.
Beyond her work in the legal field, Emily is passionate about maternal mental health and frequently hosts free legal information sessions through local parenting groups. She also gives back to her community through active involvement with the Mending Little Hearts Foundation and New Hope Dog Rescue.
Outside the office, Emily enjoys exploring outdoors with her children and two beloved big dogs. Her personal and professional life is rooted in care, service, and resilience—values she brings to every client relationship.
